There are plenty of ways to find your purpose, but let’s take a step back for a moment and consider a few questions.
- Do you have to have passion?
- Are you already living your life on purpose?
- Do you have more than one purpose?
Is Knowing Your passion overrated?
Let us consider for a moment that passion is unrelated to purpose. I know, there are a lot of people out there telling you that if you want to find your purpose you have to know your passion. But what if this wasn’t always true? What if your purpose showed up under a different kind of emotion, feeling or interest? Think about the possibilities that this one small shift opens up for you.
You might also consider what you REALLY want out of you life when considering a life purpose.
How do you know when you are living your purpose?
How does it feel when you are living your life on purpose? How do you want to feel? Did you know you have a choice? Ask yourself what might be different in your life, how might your feelings change? Before you can find your purpose you might want to know what it feels like to be taking action with your life on purpose.
Do you have multiple life purposes?
Some people seem to only have one life purpose, they are the laser focused ones, the people who spend their lifetime doing one thing. But let’s not dismiss this as the only way to live life on purpose.
What if you are here to explore several purposeful areas and to live them out one after the other, as if one purpose leads to the next, building on each step to get to the next? How might this look for you?
Do you feel like there is one thing calling you or are you multi-passionate?
