Making Collage Paper Color Scheme Pairs
I’m going to share with you a few ways you can use the Handmade Collage Papers we made last week. To get started, take your handmade papers and match them up with some solid colored papers and a few magazine images. Below you can see 3 examples of this.
If you haven’t made the collage papers in part 1, you can use just about any papers that have textured colors and marks. Sometimes I use watercolor practice sheets that I’ve saved. You can also find lots of great papers in the paper crafting section of you local craft store. Look around, I’m sure you’ll find something you can use.
Once you have your collage papers matched up with some solids and images, you can begin to get creative. Next I’ll show you a couple of different ideas for using these paper combinations.
Cupcake Perfection Buster
Here’s my 3 step process to bust the perfectionist that’s likely been holding you back. We all want to do our best, but when we get in our own way by trying too hard to be better, it might be time to get messy!
Make a Picture Frame
This idea takes one of the collage papers you made and uses it as a frame. This was something I did for the cover of a new Smashbook journal I’m using in my Women Unleashed group.
